EIA Global is pleased to announce that John Sapoch has joined its team as a Senior Advisor. Mr. Sapoch has over 30 years of experience in international banking and structured finance with Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. and several of its legacy institutions. During his tenure at Wells Fargo, Mr. Sapoch was a strong proponent for, and active user of, credit and political risk insurance (CPRI). John will work out of Princeton, New Jersey.

Al Giandomenico, EIA Global’s founder and president, commented “I am delighted to welcome John Sapoch to the EIA Global CPRI team. He was a valued customer who developed a strong understanding of CPRI and effectively partnered with EIA Global to design and implement a comprehensive CPRI program for Wells Fargo’s Global Financial Institutions group. During his more than 30-year business career, John earned the utmost respect, professionally and personally, from all of us at EIA Global and all of the underwriting community.”

Mr. Giandomenico continued: “John’s familiarity with CPRI products, knowledge of structured trade and non-trade finance, access to, and credibility with, credit and finance professionals in corporates, banks and non-bank financial institutions and ability to formulate and execute strategic business initiatives make him the ideal addition to EIA Global’s CPRI team. I look forward to renewing EIA Global’s partnership with John.”

Mr. Sapoch most recently served as an Executive Vice President of Wells Fargo and head of portfolio management for the bank’s Global Financial Institutions group. He is presently the founder and principal of Northport Global Consulting, LLC, which provides advisory services to companies, banks, non-bank financials and governmental institutions on trade finance and credit risk management and mitigation solutions.
